So the Journey Begins

Never have set up a blog before, professionally at least. So this is a little bit new to me I will say that. For those are don’t know by the website already, my name is Noah Herr and I am a filmmaker Northwestern Ohio. I’ll try and update this every Friday trying to update everyone on films, writing, editing, and other behind the scenes work.
January was the first time I hopped back into writing since I finished making my short series Accounting back in May of last year. Sure I’ve written papers, but the thought of writing an actual script wasn’t in my head at the time. The script took me about 7-10 days to write but I’m happy to say that I am officially done with it; or at least the rough-draft of the project. AI: An Even Bigger Disappointing Reality is sort of a sequel project to last years Hollywood: The Disappointing Reality obviously with the main focus being switched from Hollywood to AI. Most people don’t know that the story was actually how I felt about the film industry and how I had genuine anxiety about getting into it. So, when I found out that AI is being used in Films (one of them being Oscar nominated) I knew I had to write about an even bigger threat that could be affecting the industry I and many others are trying so hard to get into.
It will still feature the same characters like myself and Mychael Gamble who played the director in the last one. Along with new characters played by some of my friends that have been in some of my other projects in the past. Some surprises will come around that will have people excited as well. But the film will still have the same editing and production style as the first one, half of it being acting and the second half being a documentary.
Another big thing I have going for me is we will be having an actual written soundtrack in this one. My friend Matthew Veleba (who will also be staring in the film) has the special role of Music Director. I can show you a little sneak peak of what we have so far, but only a good 30 seconds of what we’ve got, maybe the intro. Why not I’ll even throw in the first page of the script for ya.
But other than that, you’ll have to wait and see what’s coming up.
